  26. The paticular 16 million the eye can see and the 16 million the computer can
  27. generate and our monitor display are not the same.  Aside from that though, the
  28. amount of accuracy that you do get with 24 bit is good enough for most people
  29. as a general feedback for what they are doing and a pleasing palette.
